Earth's Immune System
The Liberators are a privately funded team of posthuman vigilantes in New York, New York established in 1998. The Liberators distinguished themselves from more mainstream teams of paranormals by being willing to take direct action against financially and politically powerful organizations.
The Liberators operate secretly out of the Pan Am building, a skyscraper which was granted to them by the Renegades when that team disbanded. The Liberators' actual headquarters exists in a pocket dimension accessed through the 60th floor of the Pan Am building.
