Mongoose is an American comic book featuring the Kalos Comics character of the same name. The character first appeared in Tales_Of_Mystery #27, published in May 1939. Mongoose was an immediate success, and was soon featured in his own comic book in the spring of 1940.
Initially, the Mongoose comic book was a quarterly publication. It became a bi-monthly series shortly thereafter, and remained so until the late 1950s, when it became a monthly publication. The series ended in 2011 when Mongoose was killed by Paragon.
